Privacy & data
How the bundled application handles workspace data, optional cloud accounts and the shared advertising sidebar.
Your workspace
Tasks, projects and attachments are stored in this browser’s local database. The app includes export, import and local storage controls in Settings & data. Clearing browser storage can remove local data; keep exports of important work.
Optional cloud accounts
Cloud sign-in, account creation and synchronization use PlannerPlatform’s own API and session cookies. They are separate from PicPlayer’s ad-manager administration accounts. This update does not introduce shared ZenID sign-in.
The advertising sidebar
On screens at least 1280 pixels wide, a separate 316-pixel sidebar can request advertisements from the configured PicPlayer ad manager. The default service is ads.picplayer.com; creative frames are served from frames.picplayer.com.
The integration sends the public application ID plannerplatform, placement IDs, advertising consent signals and excluded network IDs. Measurement events use signed decision tokens for rendered, viewable, clicked, failed or unfilled advertisements. It does not include task titles, project descriptions, attachments, account names or workspace contents in these requests.
The SDK does not set a persistent advertising identifier or send PlannerPlatform’s session cookies to the ad manager. The receiving service can still see normal connection metadata, including the browser’s IP address and HTTP headers.
Your advertising choices
The default is contextual text advertising. Third-party networks require explicit network permission supplied by a connected consent-management platform. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals restrict the SDK’s advertising-consent flag.
Use Ad choices in the sidebar, profile menu or workspace navigation to hide advertising on this device or return to contextual-only advertising. Hiding the rail stops its requests and removes its frames. The display preference is saved locally; consent grants are not saved by this bridge.
The included preferences panel is not a certified consent-management platform. No production consent provider or paid advertising account is included with this codebase.
Network links
The Network menus open the supplied sister-app destinations in separate tabs. Those destinations are separate services with their own data practices.
